Introduction
We are a Danish company with a growing office in Bangkok, looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to take ownership of our primary web development tasks.
In this role, your main focus will be building, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites. You will work closely with Danish and international colleagues and contribute to both ongoing website development and new digital projects.
While WordPress will be your main area of responsibility, we are also a forward-looking company. Over time, you will have the opportunity to learn and assist with emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and broader programming tasks as our projects evolve.
What You Will NOT Do
This is not a general content management, website administration, or template-only WordPress role. While you may work with existing themes or tools when relevant, the main focus is hands-on WordPress development, coding, customization, optimization, troubleshooting, and technical implementation.
How You Will Work
You will work from our Bangkok office at Sam Yan as part of an international setup with colleagues in both Denmark and Thailand.
We expect you to be able to work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and communicate clearly when something needs clarification.
At the same time, you will be part of a team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and practical problem-solving are important.
The role is well-suited for someone who enjoys WordPress development, wants real ownership, and is open to learning new tools and technologies as the company continues to grow.

What You Will Do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Write clean, secure, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
- Ensure strong website performance, stability, and uptime
- Work with current WordPress standards and best practices
- Collaborate with Danish and international teams to define and implement new features
- Take ownership of assigned web development tasks from start to finish
- Communicate clearly in English with colleagues across teams
- Step outside the WordPress ecosystem occasionally to learn AI integration
- Assist with secondary technical tasks when relevant to the project
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of professional programming experience
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated WordPress development experience
- Recent WordPress experience used within the last 3 years
- Up-to-date knowledge of the current WordPress ecosystem
- Ability to write clean, secure, and well-documented code
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving website issues
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong willingness to learn and take ownership of your work
Nice to Have
- Experience with SEO-friendly WordPress development
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4 tracking implementation
- Experience with page speed optimization and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with APIs or third-party integrations
- Interest in or experience with AI tools and AI integrations
- Familiarity with staging environments, version control, or deployment workflows
- Experience working with international teams
